November highlights

Algorand’s network fundamentals remained broadly stable in November, though momentum softened compared to October’s strong growth.

Key highlights:

  • The network expanded, with wallets up 1.4% reaching 48.50 million, and transactions climbing 1.4%, pushing past 3.35 billion in total.
  • ALGO staked increased by 1.1% reaching 1.95 billion, with the community holding 79.9% and the Foundation holding 20.1%, reinforcing Algorand’s strong decentralization and robust network security.
  • Monthly active addresses declined by 5.4%; however, the number of addresses remained high at 860,000, signaling strong engagement.
  • DeFi and liquidity: While USD-denominated Total Value Locked (TVL) fell 17.0% to approximately $116 million amid broader market weakness, ALGO-denominated TVL rose 2.8%, highlighting relative on-chain liquidity resilience.

Algorand tokenomics

At the end of November, ALGO’s circulating supply reached 8.81 billion, representing 88.1% of the total maximum supply. This marks a 0.2% increase from October.

Staking rewards and network fees

During the first 11 months of 2025, validators received a total of 63.18 million ALGO in staking rewards. The chart below highlights the monthly distribution, providing insight into both staking rewards issuance and fee-driven activity on the network.
