Joseph Cecala
Head of Product Marketing
Joseph joined Algorand Foundation in June 2024 after spending 12 years working as an Engineer and Project Manager for large scale construction projects. As a Project Manager, he wore many hard hats. He managed large budgets, planned logistics, directed large crews, and ensured the quality of build for the project at hand. With the boom of blockchain technology in 2021, he came in dubiously. "Why are these monkey pictures selling for so much?" he asked himself. Trying his hand in Algorand NFTs, he immediately fell in love with this groundbreaking technology. While the technology was groundbreaking, it was not easy to use. Joseph once again put on his hardhat and helped develop open source, no code tools to help promote adoption. He is a firm believer that blockchain adoption is not a matter of if, but "wen."
