Welcome to the latest edition of the Algo Insights Report, recapping ecosystem metrics and momentum in February 2025.
There was steady momentum in the Algorand ecosystem across February 2025. Notable growth metrics include a 9.5% increase in nodes (and therefore, network decentralization), and 24.43% increase in total stablecoins market cap, driven by USDCa.
Total transactions, wallets, and RWA TVL also saw small increases throughout the month.
The bigger picture: Mainnet nodes on Algorand continue to increase. As the community brings more nodes online, the Foundation is reducing its own stake (with a total of 262 million ALGO removed in February alone). Taken together, this means the Algorand network is continuing to become even more decentralized and resilient against potential disruptions.
(And all that staking and node growth doesn’t go unrewarded – as CTO John Woods put it: “If you’ve not checked out Algorand staking, now is the time - rewards have never been juicier.”)
