After an intense two-month period of creation and collaboration, the moment has arrived to unveil the champions of our Change the Game hackathon. From across the globe, hundreds of visionary innovators joined forces to transform groundbreaking ideas into tangible prototypes and proofs of concept.
Johanna Moran, Algorand Foundation’s Head of Developer Outreach & Programs, shared her enthusiasm and stated: “As Head of Startup Programs, I'm excited about the innovative solutions and talent showcased in our second global virtual hackathon. We’re also excited to announce the establishment of an Incubator Program to provide these promising ideas with resources, mentorship, and network access for their successful transition into the next phase of development. Our goal is to nurture these visionary projects into successful ventures.”
The Change the Game hackathon winner of each track will receive 8,000 USDCa, with second and third place receiving 5,000 USDCa and 3,000 USDCa, respectively. The winners of each track will have a chance to win the Grandmaster Prize, an additional 10,000 USDCa, and 25,000 AWS credits. A 2,000 USDCa prize will be awarded to the best AI project, and a further 2,000 USDCa to the best women-led team.
Grandmaster Demo Day
The grand finale of the Change the Game hackathon, the Grandmaster Demo Day, is set for June 27. Winners from each track will be invited to Decipher, a 2-day retreat in Barcelona with workshops, master classes, and opportunities to advance business. Here, they will pitch their groundbreaking projects on the main stage to an esteemed panel of judges.
