The Global x402 Challenge closed on 6 October 2026. 115 projects put a paid x402 endpoint live on Algorand MainNet and settled real USDC through the GoPlausible facilitator.

We can now announce the 20 projects sharing the 500,000 ALGO leaderboard prize pool, as well as the ten projects moving forward to the final for the separate $100,000 USDC prize pool.

Meet the top 20

The top 20 were ranked by counted USDC volume settled through the facilitator on Algorand MainNet.

50,000 ALGO each

1. Moltworld offers pay-per-request access to leading AI models, with payments settled in USDC on Algorand via x402.

2. Finality [ Market Intelligence ] provides pay-per-request market data, signals, analysis and Algorand on-chain intelligence for humans and agents.

3. Tendril is a compute marketplace where people can rent out spare CPU, RAM and GPU capacity, with users and agents paying by the second.

4. PRISM is an AI orchestration platform that routes tasks to specialised AI capabilities and enables pay-per-use execution through x402.

5. SiteLenz turns websites into structured, machine-readable intelligence, paid for per request in USDC.

25,000 ALGO each

6. AgentHub is a marketplace of pay-per-use on-chain intelligence and developer tools built for autonomous agents.

7. AlgoFile Storage provides IPFS storage paid for directly in USDC or ALGO through x402.

8. Validex turns a company URL into a scored, evidence-backed health report that an agent can purchase on demand.

9. Callrack gives agents one pay-per-request API for 16 capabilities across 9 data domains.

10. Sikho Ai combines learning, practical skills, interview preparation and job discovery with pay-per-use AI services.

15,000 ALGO each

20. GATEWAY combines an Algorand wallet with x402 service discovery, orchestration and paid data services.

Together, these projects receive the full 500,000 ALGO leaderboard prize pool.

The ten finalists

The top 50 eligible projects moved into the judging stage. Finalists were selected based on leaderboard performance, use case quality, sustained potential, innovation, and GitHub repositories. Four judges independently reviewed and scored each team’s submission and demo video.

The ten highest-scoring projects, seen below, will pitch live in an online final on October 30, 2026, where the final ranking for the $100,000 USDC prize pool will be decided.

  1. Finality [ Market Intelligence ]: Finality is a pay-per-request market intelligence API for humans and autonomous agents. Traders, builders and agents can access spot quotes, signals, analysis and Algorand on-chain data, paying only when they request a result.

  2. Tendril: Tendril is a pay-per-use compute marketplace. People can make spare CPU, RAM and GPU capacity available, while developers and autonomous agents rent that compute by the second and pay in USDC through x402 on Algorand.

  3. Earnest: Earnest brings conditional payments to x402. Payments can be held in an Algorand escrow until a defined condition is met, such as enough buyers joining a purchase or a promised deliverable being released.

  4. Callrack: Callrack is a unified information API for autonomous agents, offering 16 capabilities across 9 data domains including news, weather, market data, exchange rates, geocoding and academic research. Each request can be paid for individually through x402.

  5. NetIntel: NetIntel is a pay-per-call intelligence API for autonomous agents, with 141 endpoints covering network, domain, web data, inference and market lookups. Agents can discover a service, pay for the individual call in USDC and receive the result without an account or subscription.

  6. SiteLenz: SiteLenz lets any developer or AI agent turn any website into structured JSON — paying per request in USDC on Algorand via x402, instead of subscriptions.

  7. Validex: Validex is the x402-native API that lets any AI agent turn a company URL into a scored, evidence-backed health report — paying per check in USDC on Algorand

  8. pkgproof: pkgproof verifies npm packages before installation: advisories, typosquat/combosquat detection, install-script and repo-provenance checks, paid per call via x402 so AI agents can query it without an API key or account.

  9. Moltworld: Moltworld is a pay-per-request AI model gateway that lets developers and autonomous agents access leading AI models through one API and pay instantly in USDC using x402 on Algorand.

  10. SELO: Selo is an x402 release-testing orchestrator that runs real paid tests against endpoints on Algorand before teams ship them.
