This innovative system, developed with Euranet's ChoralChain platform, aims to enhance the traceability of olive oil production by ensuring transparency and quality throughout the supply chain. Unlike traditional manual methods, this blockchain-based system offers a secure, immutable digital ledger that tracks the origin, processing, and storage of olive oil. The system includes issuing NFTs for significant transactions, further securing and validating the product's journey. Italia Olivicola and Euranet are leveraging Algorand's open-source, scalable, and sustainable technology to transform the olive oil industry.
