This paper explores how blockchain can protect phone subscribers against spam calls by optimizing Robinson lists. The authors present a proof-of-concept (PoC) of a decentralised Robinson list developed with the Algorand technology, which provably delivers performance, low-cost and scalability compared to centralized designs.
